I grew up on Montana’s northern border, where 30 miles of dirt roads led to a town of just 300 people.
In places like that you learn how to be resourceful. Independent. Capable. And you don’t always ask for help … because you don’t want anyone to know you could use a little help.
I’ve learned that even the strongest people have moments when the path gets unclear. When they need support.
The road of life isn’t always smooth.
The weather shifts. You hit a rut. And sometimes the smartest thing you can do… is pull over and figure things out with someone who knows how to get you back on the road.
That’s where I come in.
I was raised alongside wheat and cattle on Montana’s northern border.
This upbringing gave me a heart for serving people from rural places through Coaching.
Before coaching, I spent years as a school counselor and family consumer science teacher in a small Montana town.
Later, I served as an Extension Educator in both Montana and Wyoming, leading community-based programs that helped people grow through change and transition.
In every role, what I’ve loved most is helping people find clarity and confidence. Whether they’re students, parents, or young adults trying to navigate hard seasons.
Today, I bring that same steady presence to coaching.
My approach is relaxed, down-to-earth, and rooted in real life.

Life taught me this work long before I ever called it a career.
My coaching and speaking business is run under Sterling Solutions, LLC, which was named in honor of my dad, Sterling Wolery.
He was a Montana farmer and rancher who could fix or build just about anything…and who spent his life helping others do the same.
My parents modeled what it looks like to show up for people and find creative solutions to everyday challenges. That’s the legacy I carry into this work.
